Cellenoids in transmission have worn 'O' rings. Transm. trouble codes indicate shift cellenoid trouble. Changed u-joints, rear transm. seal, fluid and filter. Problem of 1 %26amp; 2nd gear not engagin in D or 3 stopped for a couple of hours then resumed. Noticed 'O' rings had flat spots. Can anyone direct me to good do-it-yourself help for I have no money to pay a real technician.......tks for help...
Can I change the 'O' rings in the transm. cellenoids in my 2005 Chevy. Silverado?
i think u mean solenoids.......and do a search...but most likely will need to pull off the ones on the trans and take them with u and match them at ur local parts store...
or if the dealer has a part listing can have it crossed-referenced
