My truck has been running really rough lately and I had a check engine light on saying it was miss firing. I replaced all the spark plug wires and that took care of the light. I just recently changed the spark plugs too. It's got 115,000 on it, the u-joint is still good and so is the trans mounts. Also when taking off, I get a sort of a pop noise (only when accelerating). Any ideas?

The pop noise might be a brake sticking and as for the shaking have you had the alignment checked? Also take the drive line off and check the U-joints they might look good but could be bad. I had to replace the U-joints on my vehicle recently they looked okay but when I pulled the drive line down I found the problem. So good luck
Did you check that the spark plug wires are right. You may have switch one of the wire and that is why it is %26quot;popping.%26quot; It is firing at the exhaust stroke.
