My truck was making bad vibrations and noises from the driveshaft over the weekend so I changed two universal joints on the rear driveshaft. Did not have a grease gun so I drove it for 1 day to work, and everything drove smooth. I then took the driveshaft back down, shot grease in the u-joint nipples as prescribed by manuel and reinstalled the driveshaft. Now the bad vibration is back but doesnt make any noise. Did the grease distribute uneven? Should I buy two new ones again and try that? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

make sure that when you wnet to reinstall it that one or more of the needle bearings didn't fall this will make the u-joint very tight and cause a vibration.

You may well have caused one or more of the bearing cups to slide partway off the cross of the ujoint. Hydraulic pressure is great when applied properly.
Maybe one of the ujoints is not exactly centered in it's saddle.
sounds like the driveshaft itself is the problem
