have a 98 dodge dakota 2wd 3.9. the transmission has 92,000 miles on it. changed the fluid 2 days ago. working fine until this afternoon it would not shift into third gear. like i said it have never gave me a problem before. then when i put it into reverse it does not engage all the time. and when it does it jerks really hard and it goes backwards but it does it with a jerk after jerk after jerk. do i need a new tranny or is there something inside that might be in need of repair. if i need another tranny what site could i buy from?? and also i hear of sensors and stuff. maybe driveshaft or u joint. but would the not shifting into 3rd be like the drive-shaft or what?? thanks all please help

NOTE: dodge trans. are noted for this the pump seal inside is bad not letting the system build pressure to shift gears. Have it rebuilt ASAP before it leaves you setting someplace you dont want to be.
