I got an 89 v6 2wd?

i spun a donut earlier in a dirt feild and then parked after i started drving it again and only wen i accelerated it made like noise tht sounded like it was skipping from the rear end its not my u joints i just changed them a few weeks ago any suggs. cud it be i need a new differential

It could be defective or improperly installed u-joints, the pinion bearing, something loose in the differential, or broken suspension components.



When you changed the u-joints, did you notice if the yolk moved around much? if so you need a new rear end. if not, you may still need a new differential (or just weld it all together inside.)

double check the u-joints and you may have messed up the ring and pinion in the rear end also check the rear brakes.
