I have an old 67 Volvo 122S with a bw35 tranny. The transmission wasn't maintained before I got it and its starting to go. It slips when it changes gears, shuttering, clunking when put into gear, etc. Enough putting it off, I don't want to drive it until it goes, I want it fixed.. I'm wondering where I could buy a transmission rebuilt kit.
I also want to know, is this just the U-joint? If and when I buy the transmission rebuild kit, should I flush the transmission before I get it rebuilt just to see if it gets better and return the kit if it works? Thanks
